If you purchased your ImaNewbie Collector's Edition CD at any time before July 10th, 2002 this free download will update all prior versions to the very latest toon (#147) that completes the series. It also updates the Britannia Enquirer section and the toon indexes.

What do I need to do to upgrade?

• You must have installed the ImaNewbie Collector's Edition CD on to your computer's hard drive in accordance with the instructions that came with the CD
• Download the Update by clicking on the Download link below. You can download it to any location on your hard disk but I recommend downloading to the desktop so its easy to find when you want to install it.
• Once you have downloaded the Update which comes as a compressed .zip file you must unzip it into the ImaNewbie directory.
• Complete instructions are listed below.

Note: The .zip file update below was scanned with the latest version of Norton Anti-Virus 2002 and latest virus signatures before I uploaded it to my site. This is the ONLY site with an authorized version of the update. Do NOT download this update from any other site as I cannot guarantee it will be virus free!

Instructions for Installing the Update:

• You must have a program like WinZip to Unzip the Downloaded File. If you do not have it you can download a free evaluation version from many software sites like Tucows or direct from www.winzip.com.
• You must have first installed the ImaNewbie Collectors Edition to your Hard Drive following the instructions in the readme.txt file on the CD.
• If you have installed the CD files to your hard drive you should have a folder/directory called ImaNewbie directly below your root directory and the folders and sub-folders should look like this.

• Simply unzip the files into the ImaNewbie folder. Make sure to use the following settings:
  • When WinZip opens choose: Extract, then set the following options:
  • Extract to: (the drive letter and folder the ImaNewbie album is installed to: example: C:\ImaNewbie
  • All files should be selected.
  • Overwrite existing files should be selected.
  • Use folder names should be selected.
• The files on the zip file are arranged so that the files will be placed in the corresponding sub-folders.
• Installation instructions are repeated in greater detail on a readme-update file in the .zip file.
