Hot Off The Press!
The ImaNewbie Collector's Edition CD!

That's right! The entire ImaNewbie 'Toon Collection is now available for the first time on CD. No more slow loading times, no more server outages. Having just had to change my host again for the fourth time since I started this comic site, has brought home the fact that nothing is forever, so I decided to create a special CD commemorating ImaNewbie in a form that people could enjoy offline, installed on their own systems. This is a very special version of my site without any annoying banners, frames, pop-ups or advertising to annoy you while you surf the 'toons. It will be around long after my site has faded into the annals of ancient online history. Plus I have added a bunch of features not available anywhere else to add to your enjoyment of the series.

Here's what the CD contains:

Introduction and Forward

This explains a bit about how the series came about and the history and evolution of ImaNewbie.
The Characters

Over the years many characters have become mainstays in ImaNewbie's life in Britannia. Friend and foe alike, these supporting characters have developed identities of their own. Some, like the Killer Chicken have made many repeat appearances and have their own fan following among the readers. This section contains a picture and short biography of most, if not all, of the major players.
The 'Toons

The entire 'toon collection to date. As long as I continue to add new 'toons to my site, anyone who buys the Collector's CD will be able to periodically download (for FREE) the latest 'toons to add to their collection. These will be packaged as an easy to install zip file and will contain updates to the 'toon index page.
Index to Major Themes and Controversies

For over four years ImaNewbie has tried to cover most of the major controversies that have raged as the game develops. There have also been several major themes recurring throughout the toons. These indexes provide links to all the toons sorted by theme and/or subject.

Plus, as an Added Bonus:

The Britannia Enquirer

I've also included all the editions of the Britannia Enquirer to date. Over the years I found that many times there were issues that cropped up in game that I wanted to talk about that didn't necessarily suit the ImaNewbie comic format. For that reason I created the Britannia Enquirer. It's tabloid newspaper format provided a perfect venue for me to vent or poke fun at game issues that were hot topics at the time.
The Dictionary of ICQ/UOSpeak

Anyone who has played UO, read the boards and forums, or communicated over ICQ, knows that there is an ever growing language that is unique to online communication. This dictionary gathers most of the more common phrases and provides translations into everyday English. Don't enter cyberspace without it!

OK, So Shut Up Already! Gimme the Details!

Will it Run on my System?

As long as your computer is equipped with a CD Rom Drive, the ImaNewbie Collector's Edition is written in standard HTML and designed to run on any Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc). So if you are able to view ImaNewbie on the Web you should have no trouble viewing the CD. It can be viewed directly from the CD or installed on your hard disk.

How Much does it Cost?

$9.95 US (plus a small charge for shipping and handling) - That's the cost of One Month UO Subscription, or to put it another way, less than 7 cents a toon!

Why should I send you Ten Bucks?

Well apart from the obvious fact that you are getting over four years of the best in UO comic entertainment for somewhere around 7 cents a toon, I don't get paid for doing this stuff anymore, so any profit I might make from selling these CD's will go toward keeping me in UO, upgrading my graphics software and computer hardware and just might keep me doing ImaNewbie for awhile longer.

IMPORTANT! - FREE UPGRADE for the final episodes!

A lot of people have asked if they are going to be able to have all the 'toons including the final saga just completed, if they buy the CD. The answer is YES. Everyone who has EVER bought the CD can get a FREE simple one-click download available from this site. The download is a zip file containing any new 'toons not on the CD as well as any additional Enquirers plus updates to the indexes etc. so that you will have every single 'toons, every Enquirer, etc.

IMPORTANT NEWS! - As of July 10th, 2002 the latest CDRom now contains every single episode up to and including the final (#147) episode, so anyone ordering after that date will not need the current update. Anyone who has already received an earlier version of the CD and would like to update it, click HERE (Updates Only)!

IMPORTANT CHANGE TO ORDERING METHOD! - Please Read

Due to new regulations required by the company I was using to provide credit card payment ability for the CD, I have decided to suspend this service. I will continue to accept orders for the CD but can ONLY accept payment by PayPal for now. If you haven't used the PayPal service or don't have an account I suggest you check it out. To visit PayPal (www.paypal.com) click HERE (Don't worry it will open in a separate window so you won't lose this page.) It is very easy to join and makes it easy and convenient to make purchases or offer sales over the net. To order and pay for a CD using PayPal please click below.
